Polaris adds winch to ATV line

Polaris announced a new winch to its line of ATV accessories. The 2,500 pound winch can be used for self-recovery and rescuing other vehicles to removing old tree stumps or downed trees. The winch features a 1.2 horsepower permanent magnet motor, a full steel planetary gear drive system and mechanical and dynamic braking to eliminate unwanted free spooling. The winch also includes a roller fairlead, a mini-rocker switch with a handlebar mounting bracket and fifty feet of 3/16-inch steel cable. The winch retails for $400 and is available at Polaris dealerships nationwide.
