The sport’s strongest engine and most sporty 4×4 utility chassis are combined with new features in 2010 in the Outlander 800R family. The 71 hp V-twin means business, and features like the Visco-Lok front diff, A-arm suspensions and easy-going ergos attract a sporty crowd. WHAT’S NEW: Two-stage Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) comes on upgraded XT and XT-P models, along with a quicker-locking version of the Visco-Lok front diff. All models get new wheels. SPECIAL OPTIONS: The XT ($10,749) gets DPS, plus a winch, better tires, bumpers and a larger magneto. Also available in camo styling ($11,149). The XT-P ($11,249) gets upgraded plastics and mudguards. OUR TAKE: Cool and classy.
