2010 Yamaha Raptor 250
Sport, Yamaha — By ATV Mag on January 1, 2010 at 12:00 pmIt’s a little pricier ($300) than last year, but Yamaha’s pint-sized Raptor 250 is still one of the most fun little sport quads on the market for riders of any size, almost. It’s not big, but the 250’s capabilities and possibilities for modification are huge. It’s got a zippy, free-revving engine, very aggressive ergonomics, low-profile tires, preload-adjustable shocks and triple hydraulic brakes for sporty stopping, as well as acceleration. COOL FEATURE: Ceramic-composite cylinder lining greatly reduces wear and has superior heat dissipation. OUR TAKE: A refined entry-level performer with surprising power, impressive moves and a still-compelling price that should appeal to all sport riders.
