I love how at the beginning of the campaign everyone against obama was saying, "Oh he's going to raise taxes, don't vote for him unless you want to pay more money to the gov't"
Since revealing his tax plan that shows the middle class will play less taxes its, "oh he's redistributing the weatlh, its marxist! Its socialist!"
So, what tax plan do you guys want? Obviously the current plan is not working.
Its amazing that so many are arguing against something that will probably benefit them.
And by the way, the billion dollar buyouts of the banks and car companies that the government just did is one of, if not THE MOST SOCIALIST POLICY IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

Have you looked indepth at the supposed 95% tax break as stated by the Obama campaign? What tax plan do we want? I can answer that with four words...The Fair Tax Plan. Google it and than come back and lets talk......

Do you say this because the Dems had the majority in congress for the last 2 years? You do realize this mess took time to create and might have had something to do with the 12years before where republicans had control. I'm not saying the dems are innocent, both parties could have done more.
I never said that it was all Bush's fault. The Economy's problems were the culmination 20 years of prosperity coming to an end. I do feel that the current wars we are in doesn't help the fact.

And yes i have looked at the tax plan in debth. Neither of them is perfect. I can tell you which one I BELIEVE would benefit more people though.
I don't think McCains plan of tax breaks for everyone is going to help us get out of debt and pay off the bank bailout. Someone needs to pay more taxes if the middle class is to get some relief, and i think that big business can do this since they just had 8 years of relief.
The Flat tax is good in theory but i don't think anyone is positive that it would all pan out. One could also argue that it is socialist too since people in poverty would be paying 0%. I wouldn't say that though.

Obama must be really sure he's going to win. Now slick Willie(not ours)is standing by his side. But where's Hillary? She was recently up in our area, speaking to hand wringing, Woman's groups. That didn't deter Bill, he brought along a date anyway. Here she is: Bill's such a honorable man; so Barack must be also.
