Love this topic!! 4 strokes are making great power and fantastic traction, but man they are expensive!!

Since the banshee days i have had 2 LTR450s, and im now onto the 2 wheelers, i got rid of my training wheels (atvs). ANd i have nothing but a 2 stroke, what else? Im a bush rider so i dont need insane power like on the MX track, it all comes down to experience, and balls!!

4 strokes have retarded maintenance needs, and when they are broke, they are BROKE!! they are too heavy and cost more to buy also!! their weight makes them suffer between the trees!! They pretty much suck in the bush!!

The 2 strokes are bullet proof in dirt bikes, they run cooler, and are more managable!! AMA is now letting 250 smokers run against the 250 thumpers cause they are more power, more reliable, and cheaper so everyone can be more competitive!

THE ONLY THING FASTER THEN A BANSHEE... IS A FASTER BANSHEE...

SPEED KILLS, RIDE A 4 STROKE... LIVE 4EVER!!!

2 Stroke for me. Seems like they are more reliable, well at least compared to these new 450s anyway.

i like riding 2 strokes but they dont do and R&D on them, if they did i would be on a 250 2-stroke racer, now it seems that 4 strokes have taken over all but snowmobiling, and theyare making advances there as well, although ski-doo's e-tec 2 strokes are a huge advance in 2-stroke technology

I'm still here from time to time.
Don't bash me to hard but I like four strokes better. Not a big fan of the 450's though.

4-strokes are where it is at. 2-strokes are a thing of the past.

In an ATV the preformance is great, good power, good traction, reliability is junk and in a dirt bike they are heavy as all hell, harder to manouver, more tiring, and too much maintenance!
