If you're like some ATV riders, you may be in a quandry about where to ride your trusty quad.

Sure you might have acres of land that you've been riding on or have worn a path around your house. But maybe that isn't cutting it anymore and you need something bigger and better. Perhaps you recently bought an ATV and now are searching for a place to ride.

Don't fret. We've got the goods on a plethora of trails near you.Yes, there are plenty of trails and riding areas available for ATVs. From the popular Hatfield-McCoy riding area in West Virginia to the acres of land in the West, there are many places to choose from.

There's no doubt that saddling up for a trail ride can be one of the most satisfying things about owning an ATV. Not only is it exhilarating, but you also get to see some of nature's beauty and visit places you may not have visited if you didn't own an ATV.

Our trail guide lists hundreds of trails — 131 to be exact — that are open to ATVs. While we list more than 100 trails and riding areas,we didn't include every one. We limited our selection to long, established trail systems and large acres of land. We're sure you'll find a trail near you.

You can also check the Internet to find many other trails. We've also offered a quick guide to Web sites that have large databases of trails nationwide. In addition, if there's a trail that we didn't list and you want to share it with us, let us know.
